A world divided by light and shadow.
RYLVORA is the first announced Xalo Studio game project. Its world, progression, visual identity and gameplay systems are currently being developed.
Open project ↗Future games will be announced only when their identity and development direction are ready.
Game development at Xalo Studio is treated as a combination of world rules, player progression, atmosphere and repeatable systems. The goal is to make every visible element support the same world rather than feel like a collection of unrelated assets.
A strong game world needs internal logic. Visual contrast, spaces, threats, safe moments and progression should reinforce the same identity. For RYLVORA, the announced direction is built around light and shadow, discovery and a world that can continue beyond the main progression.
That direction becomes a filter for later decisions: environments, interface language, pacing and rewards should feel as if they belong to one universe.
Progress systems are not useful simply because numbers increase. Good progression changes what the player can understand, reach or attempt. We plan milestones so that movement through the world has a reason, while optional exploration leaves space for curiosity outside the main route.
Because the project is still in development, mechanics and release scope remain subject to testing. We prefer to publish confirmed information rather than create artificial countdowns or promise platforms before they are ready.
Environments, light, scale and danger should teach the player how the world behaves without relying on long explanations.
Unlocks, challenges and exploration should create new choices instead of only filling a progress bar.
Prototype, test, revise and only then announce final mechanics, platforms or dates when they are genuinely confirmed.
